Disco Chateau is a Bay Area based Burning Man camp dedicated to gifting music, art, cuddles and comfort to the Playa each year. With over 150 members from 20 different countries, the Disco Chateau family is brought together through common values of community, creativity, love, playfulness, and authenticity.
Our mission is to create a nurturing and playful environment where all Burning Man citizens can come to relax, renew, recharge and reinvent themselves. The Cuddle Puddle is at the heart of the camp, this is a sacred space of comfort, intimacy, and a return to youthful innocence. The deeper you sink into the mass of stuffed animals that surround you, the greater the sense of euphoria and release of oxytocin.
Disco Chateau is realised through a collaborative design process between artists, organisers, designers and performers from around the world. The camp is constructed inhabited and dismantled over a two week period, though a year round effort is needed to ensure that the camp continues to improve upon the experience that it offers.
Though Burning Man is always Disco Chateaus main event, other experiences are offered at different venues throughout the year.
